This is a photo of the astronomical clock in Prague. Every hour people from around the world come to observe the animated figures that appear from the little windows above the clock. I find this picture very appropriate for my feelings at the time. I was overwhelmed by the massive structures around me, including the Prague castle and this magnificent clock. I also felt as if I was in sort of a trance staring up at this impressive monument, even though I was surrounded by hundreds of spectators waiting for the hour to strike.
