This Photo is by Etienne Jules Marey. Marey invented Chromatography in 1890. This type of photography produces an entire sequence of motion on a single frame. Marey also invented the chronophotographic gun that can shoot up to 30 photographs in a second. He used these photos to analyze movement with the great accuracy.
