light meter: is a device used to measure the amount of light.

Shutter: a photographic device that administers the exposure by limiting the time over which light is admitted

photographic material consisting of a base of celluloid covered with a photographic emulsion; used to make negatives or transparencies

A photographic lens (also known as objective lens or photographic objective) is an optical lens or assembly of lenses used in conjunction with a camera body and mechanism to make images of objects either on photographic film or on other media capable of storing an image chemically or electronically.

Diaphragm (optics), a stop in the light path of a lens, having an aperture that regulates the amount of light that passes

focus ring: Section of cylinder located around the lens barrel of a camera, used to manually adjust focus

ISO for camera film speed (or ISO speed)

  3. Light Meter: a device used to measure the amount of light to determine the proper exposure.

Shutter: controls the amount of time that the volume of light coming through the lens (determined by the aperture) is allowed to stay on the film or digital media in the camera.

Film: is a sheet of plastic coated with an emulsion containing light-sensitive silver halide salts with variable crystal sizes that determine the sensitivity, contrast and resolution of the film.

Lens: an optical device with perfect or approximate axial symmetry which transmits and refracts light, converging or diverging the beam.

Diaphragm: thin opaque structure with an opening (aperture) at its centre.

Focus Ring: The band on the camera lens that, when turned, moves the lens in relation to the film plane, focusing the camera for specific distances.

ISO: an archive file (also known as a disk image) of an optical disc in a format defined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
